Suzette Bowcut Powell, 74, of Preston, passed away at home in Preston Sunday, June 25, 2023.
Suzette was born to Peter Earl and Mary Rosealla Olson Bowcut. She is the 5th of 6 children.
Suzette married William Allan Powell on January 19, 1968. Together they had seven children. They later divorced.
Suzette was a member of the church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. She loved going and touring all the temples. She loved going with her friend to do temple work until her health started declining, and she could no longer go.
Suzette is survived by a sister Earlene (Jon) Hiner of Boise, Idaho, and a brother Tex (Patty) Bowcut of Mapleton, Idaho. amd a brother-in-law Richard Beaumar of Robie Creek, Idaho. Her children also survive her, Steve Allan Powell of Middleton, Idaho; Stephanie Buttars of Middleton, Idaho; Shandell (Chad) Hebdon of Preston, Idaho; Susan Danise (Greg) Clayson of Salem, Oregon; Shayln (Rose) Powell of Downey, Idaho; Scott Christopher (Stevie) Powell of Preston, Idaho; Samberly (Lucas) Westover of Clifton, Idaho. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart, and she loved spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Mary Bowcut; a step-father Gene Munns; two brothers, Douglas Bowcut and Rodger Bowcut and a sister Mary Beaumar.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 am Friday, June 30, 2023, at the Preston 6th ward chapel at 55 E 100 S, Preston.
Friends may call Thursday evening, June 29, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm at the Franklin County Funeral Home, 56 S State Street, Preston, and again on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 before funeral services at the church. Burial will follow in the Mapleton Cemetery, Cub River.
