Harold Jones Weyerman passed away on December 24, 2023, in Boise, Idaho. He was born on July 27, 1942, in Manti, Utah, the seventh child of Fred and Olive Jones Weyerman.
The family moved from Manti to Vernal, Utah, when Harold was only three years old; Vernal became his hometown. It was there that he received his education and attended school. He later pursued his passion for auto mechanics by attending a trade school. He moved to Weston, Idaho in 1960. Harold chose to serve a work mission for the LDS Church from 1964 to 1966.
Harold's career began with his employment at the City of Preston for a short time before he later transitioned into a successful truck driving profession with Lenace Keller. He drove truck until his retirement.
Apart from his professional accomplishments, Harold had many hobbies and interests that brought joy to his life. He loved spending time tinkering with auto mechanics and honing his skills. Whittling wood was another favorite pastime of Harold's, allowing him to express his creativity while also finding peace and relaxation.
One of Harold's proudest achievements was meeting the love of his life in 1970 while working in potato production on the West Side. Their connection quickly grew stronger, leading to a proposal for marriage from Connie to Harold, which he accepted. After a year-long engagement filled with love and anticipation, they were united in marriage on May 7, 1971, at the Logan LDS Temple. Following their wedding day, they settled down in Preston and created a home and family together.
