James Lowell Dunster, 88, of Dayton, passed away at home, leaving to continue his mission on the other side with his waiting family and enjoying an even closer love with his Savior, Jesus Christ, of whom he had a strong testimony of.
He was born on November 3, 1934, the oldest and first-born son of five children to Lowell and Virginia Dunster in Salt Lake City, and there received his education. He enjoyed belonging to the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) and later joined the Navy Reserves.
Jim learned to work very hard early in life which continued throughout. He was always helping anyone in trouble or who just needed his advice. He had good memories of helping his grandfather on the farm and with his dad in his garage. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could build or fix anything. He was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, and received many callings. One of his favorite callings was being a scoutmaster, and he loved the boys and all their activities and accomplishments.
He married Sheila Heaton, and together they raised six children, later divorcing. In 1984 he married Marie Suzanne Adams Fehler and were sealed in the Jordan River Temple, having Sue's two children sealed to them at a later date.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Sue and children: Linda (Jim) Stevenson, Shauna (Frank) Peterson, Anne (Scott) Brown, Martin Dunster, Sheri (Rick)(dec) Davies, Bonnie Jo Pulsipher, Richard C. (Kristine) Fehler. He was preceded in death by a daughter Kelly Lyne Fehler. He is also survived by his sisters: Allein (Neal)(dec) Thueson, Barbara (Don)(dec) Brown, Lucille (Jerry)(dec) Tullis, and a brother Gary (Elaine) Dunster.
He will be truly be loved and missed ...till we can all be together again.
