Juanita Ruth Bartels

With her loving family around her, Juanita Ruth Bartels passed away at Franklin County transitional care May 29th at the age of 97. She was born May 8th, 1922 in Davenport IA, she married Robert E Boekholder on July 1941. Together they had four children, all surviving. Fay Duffy of Preston, Idaho; Nancy Cale (James) of Preston, Idaho; Rebecca McGrew (Gary) of Thayne, Wyoming and Mark Boekholder of Milan, Illinois. She also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her strong religious beliefs gave her a positive hope for the future that her loved ones will see

her again in a future resurrection. She was active in the community as one of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1947 and believed strongly in the Bible's promises for the future and shared those promises with all the ones she met.

Juanita was a very loving, kind and humble person who always put others before herself.

There will be a memorial service held in her honor at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 804 N State St, Preston, Idaho at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 15, 2019. All are welcome to attend the service.
