Verna Joan Daniels

Verna Joan Daniels, 92, of Preston, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024, at a local care center. Joan was born June 21, 1932, in Stockton, California, the daughter of Malcom Woodruff Smith And Verna Dahle. She married Daniel Kenneth Daniels, and they had one son, Shane Keith Daniels. 

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Janice Young Wilson Preston; grandchildren Shauna, Georgia, Tina, of California; Scott (Janelle) California; Shane Jr. (Whitney) Preston; Jeff (Hollee) River Heights; Angie (Clint) Franklin, Amy (Tony) Preston—also, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel, and her son, Shane.
